Account name Any name for the account that you want. This name appears only in your email settings if you have more than one mail account, it can help you distinguish one account from another. |

Name The name that you want to appear in messages you send from the account. This name lets recipients of your messages distinguish your messages from those they receive from other people. Depending on your preference, it might be your full name, only your first name, your initials, and so on. |

E-mail address The address that people should use when sending messages to you. This is the Internet address of the mailbox that stores your messages. It consists of three parts: a name that uniquely identifies your mailbox, an at (@) symbol, and the domain name of your mail server. An example of an e-mail address might be "username@xpressamerica.net". |

Account ID The name that email program should provide when connecting to the mail server a computer on the Internet that stores e-mail messages to receive your messages. This is a name that uniquely identifies you and your mailbox. You would set this to you email address for exsample "username@xpressamerica.net". .
In many cases, your account ID is your e-mail address that including the (@) symbol. For example, if your e-mail address is "username@xpressamerica.net," your account ID will be "username@xpressamerica.net". |

POP server The Internet address of the mail server that The email program should connect to when receiving your messages. This address might consist of only letters, letters and numbers, or only numbers, and it typically includes three or four parts that are separated by periods (.). Examples of POP servers might be "mail.xpressamerica.net". Other common terms for POP server are: message server; receiving server; incoming server; and server address.
Note If you're setting up an MSN Hotmail account, you don't need to enter this information. |

Password The password that the email program should provide when connecting to the mail server to receive your messages. Passwords are frequently case-sensitive for example, if your password is mypassword and you type MYPASSWORD, you won't be able to receive your messages. In your email program, you can either enter your password each time you receive messages or you can save your password so that you do not have to enter it each time. Other common terms for password are: mailbox password; mail pass; and logon password. |

SMTP server The Internet address of the mail server that your email program should connect to when sending your messages. Like a POP server, this address will be "smtp.xpressamerica.net". Other common terms for SMTP server are: outgoing message server; sending server; and SMTP server address.
